Thank you to all participants for making the 2010 rally so successful and such an enjoyable event. It encourages us to make 2011 even better!
The Route 62 Rally provides all participants with the opportunity to experience some of the Western Cape’s most scenic routes and of course the fantastic hospitality of the various towns and stops that make up Route 62.
Route 62 covers well surfaced roads that carry very little traffic making the route perfect for biking through dramatic scenic mountain passes and along stretches of landscape that take your breath away. Equally beautiful, the route includes numerous rivers, vineyards and fruit orchards as it winds gently through the Breede River Valley and Klein Karoo.
In 2011 the rally is being held in the warm Karoo town of Oudtshoorn famous for its ostrich breeding farms, the Cango Caves, hot air ballooning, and small town hospitality.
The programme is being finalised and is poised to set the town alight. Once again, the entertainment will be selected to rock the rally. Evening entertainment under an African sky is set to blow you away. Chill zones during the day will give you the opportunity to relax and make new friends, or take time to browse through the Harley Village stalls specially selected to provide a broad range of browsing or shopping experiences.
Registration opens mid September.
